Common Solutions for eSIM activation issues (Last Updated:1.11)

As an eSIM users, I’m sure there are moments that you can’t connect to the internet after you activate your eSIM. We have listed some of the common solutions for these issues. If you are still not able to get internet, we highly suggest you contact your carriers.

 

 

# Fail to activate your eSIM

1. **eSIM doesn’t support locked device.** You have to make sure your device is You have to make sure your device is unlocked. eSIM is not available for any locked device or contracted device.

2. If you fail to activate your eSIM at an unlocked device, please contact your eSIM carrier for further assistance.

 

 

# No internet after successfully activate your eSIM

 

**iOS Device:**

1. Make sure you have selected your eSIM carrier(Such as, Airalo, GigSky, RedteaGO, Truphone and etc.) as your Cellular Data (Setting -> Cellular -> Cellular Data -> Select eSIM)

2. Turn on Data Roaming

**Still can’t connect to the internet?**

1. Find a “3G” sign showing next to your signal bar. That means you probably need to upgrade your iOS to the latest version.

2. Find a “No Signal” sign showing next to your signal bar. We highly suggest your contact your eSIM carrier for further assistance.

 

**Android Device:**

Situation could be quite different based on devices if you are Android system. The most common way is to make sure your have selected your eSIM carrier(Such as, Airalo, GigSky, RedteaGO, Truphone and etc.) as your Cellular Data. Turn on your roaming data. If it doesn’t work, we highly suggest you contact your eSIM carrier for further assistance.
