How to set-up your eSIM? (Cell Phone)

  1. Make sure your phone is eSIM compatible. (eSIM Compatible Devices Checklist)
  2. Choose your operate system

1. In-App Purchase & Activation (iOS)

  1. Make sure your phone updated to the latest version of iOS (12.1 or above)
  2. Install the App on your iPhone. Here are the worldwide eSIM providers that Apple recommended. (Apple – Worldwide Service Providers)
  1. Purchase a plan directly through the app.

  2. Follow the instruction and activate your plan

  3. Hooray! Enjoy your eSIM trip.

2. QR Code Scanning (iOS)

  1. Make sure your phone updated to the latest version of iOS (12.1 or above).
  2. Go to Setting > Cellular
  3. Tap “Add Cellular Plan”
  4. Scan the QR code

3. Enter the information manually (iOS)

 

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Scroll down till you see ”Add Cellular Plan“ and tap it
  3. Tap “Enter Details Manually”

 

  4. Enter all your eSIM information provided by your eSIM carrier.

 

We use Google Pixel as an example. Android interfaces vary from different devices. You might need some extra work to find the right place to activate.

2. QR Code Scanning (Android)

  1. Go to Setting > Network & internet
  2. Tap “+” next to “Mobile Network”
  3. Tap “Download eSIM instead”
  4. Volia! You have your eSIM ready!

3. Enter eSIM

  1. Go to Setting > Network & internet
  2. Tap “+” next to “Mobile Network”
  3. Tap “+” next to “Mobile Network”
  4. Tap “Need Help” at the bottom
  5. Tap “Enter it manually”


 6. Enter all your eSIM information provided by your eSIM carrier
